![]() When the Kharaa Bacterium was released onto the planet, many creatures died, destroying the food source of the species. It's suggested that in the past these creatures would have traveled in small herds in the bottom of the trenches (that being the Crater Edge), occasionally coming to the surface to feast on the microorganisms in the shallower water. It also has a hole in the back with an unknown purpose, most likey for creating enzyme 42 or laying eggs.ĭespite its gargantuan size, the Sea Emperor Leviathan's diet consists solely of micro-organisms filtered from the water, much like real-life Baleen whales and Blue whales. Unlike the Sea Dragon Leviathan, the Sea Emperor Leviathan doesn't have true graspers instead, its forelimbs are two massive, paddle-like arms, similar to some paddles used by turtles, primarily used for stabilization while swimming and possibly used for defense against predators. The Sea Emperor Leviathan's posterior consists of seven long, yet slim tentacles ending with large tentacular clubs, with the largest being in the center, surrounded by the six smaller tentacles. It has four binocular eyes, glowing cyan in color. The creature's head is comparatively small, and quite peculiar in shape (see "Trivia" below for more), featuring two striped antennae with glowing green lures atop its snout, two large mandibles on each side of its rather small mouth, and a glowing hollow between these mandibles. Its tentacles are adorned with bright cyan bioluminescent "bulbs." The Sea Emperor Leviathan is colossal, having a stocky, entirely armored body and is predominantly pale brown in color, with shades of green. It is sapient and telepathic, but unlike most Leviathans, it is not aggressive. I would return/ it seems expensive but you can totally make a day or more out of it: its value for money. The Sea Emperor Leviathan is the largest of the living Leviathan class fauna found within the crater in Subnautica. There are some picnic tables in designated areas, but most tables were selfishly reserved by families by placing cool boxes and lunch boxes on the tables those of course were the shady ones so be aware that happens. Our second day saw us bringing a packed lunch. Our meal for family of four came to €60! Ice creams each came to €12. The queues were big, there is a fast pass and I think I would probably invest in one of we were to go back, so the children could go on more slides in the short ish time. Definitely enough to keep kids occupied even if they aren't talk enough for slides. Try and Sit in shaded area, or have a bag or a towel to sit on and hat and sunglasses as it get very hot and very sunny while waiting for the Shows (both shows are around 15-20mins with a gap of 10 mins) The slides aren't all accessible to small children, but there are smaller play areas and a family pool with different depths. The sealion show is good, we watched it three times over the two days but mainly because the dolphin show is right after and you need to be there to get good seats. You can hire lockers (€5 deposit and €5-10 payment for a range of sizes, we went for the €6 one fitted al of our stuff in (family of 4) You can also book dolphin experiences, including a photo with a dolphin (€20 each person) and photo with sea lion (€10) The bird show was fun, although short. I would recommend booking online and printing tickets at home, there's a free bus from Santa susanna (and other local areas) We also took advantage of the "come back for €10" and returned two days later. We booked through a tour operator locally. We were extremely disappointed with the whole experience and would strongly advise nobody to bother with this terrible park. ![]() Dolphins and whales should not be subjected to this and be kept like this for entertainment. I know it is contradictory to moan about this subject when we paid to access the park ( only for the use of the waterslides) but the Dolphins are kept in a pretty small swimming pool. It is the worst amusement/waterpark I have ever been to. This park is aimed at very small children so if you aren't with small children don't even bother with this rubbish park. The park is expensive for what it is, the rides were absolutely terrible as were the queues. Drinks including bottled water extremely overpriced. It might have been high season but the park was awfully crammed - hardly anywhere to find a spot to sit down. We left again after half an hour without even going on anything. Visited this park with a group of friends in our thirties. ![]()
